What personal information do we collect and store?

In order to provide our services, we may ask for personal details such as your name, address, telephone number and or or e-mail address.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Our administrators can also see and edit that information.

How do we use this information?

We use this information to process transactions, deliver goods or services, communicate with you about your order or subscription, and provide customer support. We may also use your information to send you marketing materials about new products or services that we think you might be interested in.

Privacy law requires us to only collect personal information about you when it is reasonable and practical to do so.

The Taste Peddler Pty Ltd takes measures to ensure your personal information is protected from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration.

You are not required to provide any personal information to us, but withholding requested information may prevent us from being able to provide you with certain goods or services.

What about my credit card details?

When you make a payment to, get a refund from, or start a purchase with us, your transaction data will be captured by our Processing Partner (Stripe). Stripe is a certified PCI Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate PCI hosting environment and is not stored by the Taste Peddler Pty Ltd.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Can I have my data deleted?

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
